- Submissions open for 2024/25 season of Indy Film Library’s annual contest
- Early bird submissions at lower rate until the end of April
Last week, Indy Film Library (IFL) announced the winners of our 2024 season. The event included two nights of digital screenings, and drew to a close with a sell-out showcase at Filmhuis Cavia, Amsterdam.
The festival was the result of hundreds of impartial reviews on the IFL website – as well as four extra showcase events. This year, we celebrated experimental, student, horror shorts from around the world via our digital screening page; as well as a special London event, showing off the finest UK-based talent.
With another successful 12-month season under our collective belt, the IFL team is now turning its attention to the 2024/25 season. Kicking that off, we are proud to announce that we are open for submissions via FilmFreeway.
As well as being put into contention for IFL’s awards showcases, every film sent receives professional, independent feedback in a public review – a unique and valuable service in the traditionally opaque world of film festivals. Full details on how you can send your films to IFL can be found on our website.
Until the end of April 2024, submissions are charged at a lower early bird rate. To make the most of that, you should send your work as soon as possible.
Elsewhere, IFL is also looking for collaborators to join its team. This includes positions for section editor, social media leader, and event organiser – for next year’s theatre showcases. More information can be found here.
