During the 2025 IFL Halloween Horror Showcase at Supermercator, we took the opportunity to get to know some of our fabulous filmmakers better. After the selected movies screened, a Q&A panel offered the chance for audiences to put questions to some of the artists behind the nightmares.

Hosts and Cinemercator co-founders Merte Voorhoeve and Andreas van Riet spoke to directors Natalie Spencer (HUNGER), Mart van den Heuvel (I Must Go On) and Sando Heijnen (Doe eens mens), along with music designer Lewis Knight and DOP Martin van Drunen (Alles is OK), about their experiences in independent filmmaking.
