As the dust settles on another award season, we’re thrilled to announce that I’m Not a Robot – which played at our 2024 festival, and picked up Best Screenplay – has triumphed at the 2025 Academy Awards. Naturally, everyone at Indy Film Library would like to offer huge congratulations to Victoria, Trent and the team, on their hard-earned success.
It has been a real privilege to champion their work over the years. Looking ahead, we at IFL would love to build on this, by presenting another selection of gifted filmmakers from across the Benelux region at our 2025 Amsterdam event.
We already have an amazing selection of films for our showcase at Filmhuis Cavia this April. But with fewer than 10 days until the submissions period closes, there is still room to add quality films from filmmakers based in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg!
So, if you have a short film (documentary, narrative, experimental or music video), or a feature (documentary or narrative of no more than 90 minutes), we would love to hear from you.
